Year 5R2 had an amazing spring term which included a trip to Hampton Court to support their understanding of the Tudors and in particular Henry V111. The children had fun and fantastic learning! Then, there was fascinating literacy work as children developed persuasive writing skills and continued reading new and interesting books from their new library. They also enjoyed swimming on a Tuesday. The PE focus was dance. The children also investigated a healthy lifestyle during Application Focus Week and produced outstanding work culminating in an assembly.
Their learning journey continues and we look forward to better and greater achievements in the new term.

Year 5R2 had an amazing autumn term which included a trip to the National Maritime Museum, to support their understanding of the Vikings. The children had fun and fantastic learning! Then, there was a trip into Central London where the children met with well- known and established entrepreneurs who ran workshops and seminars centered around businesses and the importance of fulfilling goals. In science they have been looking at the holistic development of human beings and at decimal conversions in mathematics among other things.
They have also been developing their reading skills and are so enthusiastic especially as they now have a brand new library! Their fabulous learning journey continues and we look forward to better and greater achievements in the new term.
